Please join us for the May meeting of the Cameron Terrace/Oak Park Civic Club. Instead of our regular meeting, we will be taking a tour of the Navy Base, and additional sites in the city, time-permitting. City Councilman Bob King has secured a 25-passenger bus for us, and it will be leaving at 7:00PM sharp. If you would like to go, please be on time.

There will be a town hall meeting on preparedness: "Where WE stand today as it relates to Preparedness". This will be held on Wednesday, April 30th at 6:00PM at the City of North Charleston City Hall. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will be holding a community meeting on at 6:00PM on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 to provide information and to allow for open and informal discussion about the studies that will be prepared and the alternatives that will be evaluated in the EIS for the proposed Navy Base Intermodal Facility project. The meeting will be held at the Military Magnet Academy (2950 Carner Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29405).
